This family owned restaurant with incredible views over the Galli isles, Capri and the magical town of Positano is an ideal setting for a rustic wedding reception serving genuine and original Italian dishes.

Wanderlust Weddings loves this venue not only for its spectacular location but also for its fun-loving and relaxed atmosphere that Don Luigi and his family have created over many years.

We recommend getting married on Positano’s beautiful town hall terrace, followed by an aperitif at a local Positano cafe before heading up to the hills to this gem of a place – La Tagliata.

Location: A short drive from Positano. The restaurant provides a free shuttle bus to pick up and drop off guests

Exclusivity? There are three terraces which can be used exclusively. The terrace you use will depend on the number of guests you will have

Is there accommodation there? There are two double bedrooms on site

Do I need a wedding planner? The restaurant manager is very accommodating and the reception side of your wedding could be organised through her. You may like to think about hiring a wedding planner for the legal/ceremonial side of things or if you are ambitious, organised and have some time on your hands, you could try arranging it yourself and hire an interpreter on the day. See more in our ‘legal’ section which is coming soon….

Venue fee: None

Price per wedding meal: Fixed menu @ €80 per person. This includes an incredible amount of food (antipasti, pasta, grilled meat, fruit, desert and limoncello. It also includes an aperitif with prosecco on arrival and unlimited house wine and water!

Entertainment after the meal?   A singer, guitarist and pianist can be booked directly through La Tagliata, for approx €250 so guests can continue the party long after the meal has finished
